MY FIRST CRUSH

I wrote this for a challenge which Incorporated the use of both alliteration and an acrostic in MY FIRST CRUSH.

Acrostic is a poem form where a particular letter in each line forms a word. Here, it's the first letter in each line.

Marital marionettes mesmerised me, myriad memories monopolizing my mind

You yarned yonderly yin-yang yearnings

Fostering fervent fervour furtively

Inamorato igniting inane idiosyncrasies, ineffable

Romeo romanticising red roses, rousing rendezvous reveries

Sunset sonnets sung, starring summer solstice soirees

Temptations taming twisted tangents

Coalescing cadences canorously, catharsis crippled

Reciprocals reversed, receding rhapsodies

Universe upturned

Simpatico sweetheart separated, soliloquies stayed

Heartfelt hymns hitherto hallowing him.

MY FIRST CRUSH-

My Youthful

Flamboyance Is

Raining Stardust

Transcending Cascades

Rainbows Utter Silly Hues
